This very fast racing cruiser won the Phuket Kings Cup Regatta in 2002 and is now available for bareboat with engineer charters.

The Trade Wind 48 is a large, fast and comfortable charter catamaran, built in aluminium for lightweight and strength. She has four spacious double guest cabins, three showers and toilets, separate crew quarters, a large and well shaded cockpit, and plenty of uncluttered space on deck.
She also is equiped with a large capacity water maker, so fresh water usage is no issue. Cabins are well ventilated with opening hatches and additional electric fans.
Her high speed design makes you cover a lot of ground within a short time. This way cruising grounds further away come within your reach, even during shorter charters.

The engineer assists you in checking all technical items, run the watermaker etc. and give you a hand wherever you like. The James Wharrams designs convince through their unique design style and offer room, comfort and ease of handling with a good speed. The design has been complemented with additional hatches and portholes to adapt to tropical conditions. All cabins are therefore well ventilated and offer comfortable accommodation.
The galley is located in the port hull adjacent to the double cabin and the toilet/shower compartment is in the starbord hull adjacent to the double cabin. All cabins are entered from the deck area.
Keeping in mind that tropical living and sailing is mainly enjoyed outside her designers have maximised the usable deckspace and the cockpit is shaded by a permanent bimini with additional awnings. A second fresh water shower is also located on the aft deck!
