We
have several trips coming up, here is one that
goes every year:
Kristiansand-Las
Palmas
As
we have done for several years now; we are going to transport some boats this
year too.
Below You'll see some of the schecduled trips where You might be a part of the
crew
Contact Us for vacant places.
The
trip:
T
he
trip is planned with 6 lap's but with the posibbility to split up some of these
lap's in shorter bit's.
The participants is given the chanse to see the locations that's we pass trough,
and therefore we have planned the time schedule to include some shore time at
eacht destination on the trip.
Kristiansand
( south Norway) - Great Yarmouth
Departure Kristiansand:
Departure
from Kristainsand is scheduled to be at the 14.th of Sept, +/- 7 days, exact
date would be set later
The distance is 410 nautic
miles,
and we estimate to use max 4 days and nights on the crossing.
ETA Great Yarmouth is scheduled to be 19.th Sept, and we have sheduled a
stay there for 3 days.
Since Great Yarmouth may not be the most exiting place to stay for 3 days, we
might reduce the stay and instead go down the channel to other pleasent
harbours. It is also possible to take a shorter shore leave, and see how the
country side in Norfolk are. And there is not that far to Cambridge.
Departure Great Yarmouth:
Departure Great Yarmouth
is scheduled to 22.th sept, +/- 7 days, exact date will come later.
The distance is 207 Nautic Miles, and the trip is estimated to take 3 days.
Arrival Cowes is therefore estimated
to be the 25.th Sept. Cowes is the mekka of sailing, and absolutely worth
a visit.
We have therefore planned a stay for 5 days and nights.
Cowes-Brest
Departure Cowes:
Departure
Cowes 30.Sept
autic miles,
and we estimate a 3 days trip to Brest. ETA Brest
would be
03october,
and here we have planned a stay of 5 days. Brest is the westmost city of
signification in France, and a center for ordinary sailing vessels.
West of the city, You'll find the island of
Ile dOuessant ( also known as Ushant).
Between the shore and the islands, there is a huge tidal current and if You hit this tidal current
the wrong way,
it could be quite unpleasant.
Brest-Baiona
Departure Brest:
Departure
Brest is scheduled to
be the 08.th
Oct.
The distance is 446 nautic
miles,
and we expect to use max
5 days for the trip.
ETA Baiona would be
the 13.oct
,
and here it is also planned a stay for 5 days.
Baiona is a small but unusual friendly harbour. While staying in
Baiona, we would suggest a daytrip by bus or car to Santiago de Compostela, the
Catholic most important pilgrimage next to Rome.
The distance is not more than a 100 Km, there are good bus-transfers, and
nice new roads.
Baiona-Lagos
Departure Baiona:
Departure Baiona
is scheduled to 18.th
OctThe distance is 341
nautic miles,
and estimated time is 4 days for the trip. ETA Lagos is 22.th Oct, and here
there are planned a stay for 5 days. West of Lagos You'll find Lagos-Las Palmas

Departure
The distance is 640
nautic miles,
an estimated trip of 7 days. ETA Las Palmas would be 3.th Nov. An further presentation of Las Palmas and the Canary Islands, I guess You
do'nt need. ;-)
