Long term rental or long tour

We have all the time boats/yacht's on long term rental. Many people find it convenient to live onboard a yacht for several month's each year, for many it's caused their home weather these months.
To avoid the dark part of the year, many rent a boat and slaip away from the cold weather this way. And instead pass the winter in the mediterranean.
The price for renting an bigger boat / yacht with the possibility to several destinations and stay's in the winter season, are competitive as an alternative to hotels and other accommodations.  
You'll find several people that has tried this before, and does it again and again. These people are usually happy to share their experiences with the new ones.
